Protofire and its many integrations! | Author: Dwayne D’cunha | The Capital | June 2021
Protofire is a group of motivated individuals who help people who want to create projects that serve the larger community. 80% of the code developed by Protofire is open source, which highlights its information about serving the online blockchain community.
Implement smart contract development and best practices, such as CI/CD pipelines, to provide a faster way to send code changes. If design is not your strong suit, then Protofire allows you to work together in the Web department and the mobile department while showing attractive UX that attracts users. Guide you through the entire development process of DApps from planning to deployment. Don’t forget the key tools needed to implement these processes, including SDK (software development kit), API, and application components. It also integrates your project with oracles that provide reliable data from external sources.
Chainlink has a funding program to provide the necessary resources for the project to promote the prosperity and benefit of the community. Projects built on Protofire have received many such grants. Avalanche is the first company to receive direct financial support from this grant. Avalanche is a platform that serves as a launchpad for interoperable blockchain and decentralized applications. It currently has two widely benefiting protocols:-Avalanche-DAG optimized consensus protocol with high production output and can easily erase data from old verification blocks. Snowman-a chain-optimized consensus protocol once again has a large output in terms of capacity, which is very suitable for smart contracts.
The second recipient of this grant is Polkadot-based smart contract platform Plasm and Plasm’s subsidiary Shiden. The goal is to use Chainlink’s oracles to provide high-quality data from external sources. This will serve Plasm and Shiden’s price feeds and apply to several different situations. Plasm is committed to becoming a multi-chain smart contract platform that will support various blockchains and EVM and other virtual machines.
Celo is the latest beneficiary of Chainlink’s funding of its mobile-first blockchain platform. Chainlink’s resources, especially the oracle, will be used to provide timely data for prices in a fair manner. In addition to lending, asset management, and remittances, this also increases the security of the Celo stablecoin. This negative carbon platform operates based on the proof-of-stake agreement they have been working on.
